Vestbee published its list of 100 must-follow startups from Summer Pitch CEE 2026. based. is on it.
The entry reads:
"Based. is a Polish media technology company developing a media planning workspace for advertising agencies and marketing teams. It helps users build, sync, and monitor media plans across ad platforms by tracking budgets, actual spend, pacing, and campaign performance in one place."
That is based.planner, described by someone who does not work here, which is the useful part. We did not brief it.
The list covers the 2026 Summer Pitch CEE cohort — early-stage companies from Central and Eastern Europe, across AI, fintech, healthtech, climate tech, deeptech and defence. Vestbee's jury picked ten of them to pitch at the event, chosen by investors including EQT Ventures, Lightrock, Molten Ventures, Northzone and Eurazeo. We were not one of the ten. We are one of the hundred, in a list that is not ranked and does not pretend to be.
The odd part is the category. based. is an ad agency. It shows up here as a media technology company, next to a satellite refueling startup and an X-ray inspection company, because our media planner kept breaking in Sheets and we built the thing that replaced it.
